Lenovo’s MWC 2026 lineup points to a modular future
At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Lenovo showed a broad range of new PCs, from practical upgrades to more experimental concepts. Five devices in particular highlighted the company’s push toward modularity and flexible form factors. The ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept doubles as a Windows 11 laptop with a Bluetooth keyboard and a detachable double-sided display that can replace the keyboard or serve as a secondary monitor with a built-in kickstand.
The ThinkPad 13 Detachable aims at productivity with an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, up to 64GB of RAM, a 13-inch 2.8K, 120Hz touchscreen covering sRGB, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a full-size keyboard with 1.5mm key travel; it is expected in Q3 2026 starting at $2,000.
For portable gaming, the Legion Go Fold Concept expands a foldable POLED screen from 7.7 to 11.6 inches, keeps detachable side controllers (one usable as a mouse), and supports modes like Vertical Split Screen and Expanded Desktop; it runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V with up to 32GB of RAM.
