Lenovo teases folding Legion Go Fold concept — not the Steam Deck rival
Lenovo has shown off a Legion Go Fold concept that uses a hinged POLED display to double as a dual-screen handheld and even a laptop, but it’s hard to see it replacing the Steam Deck OLED. The company pitches the design at gamers who don’t want to stay parked in front of a TV or juggle a laptop and a handheld while travelling.
Lenovo says the concept offers four distinct modes, from a 7.7-inch traditional setup to an 11.6-inch laptop-like configuration. The Vertical Split-Screen mode is presented for streaming or walkthroughs, yet it could also work as an elaborate retro dual-screen device.
An analogue clock on the right gamepad caught attention; Lenovo doesn’t explain it, and the write-up guesses it may be a tiny OLED for widgets, performance stats or a touchpad alternative. The concept also aims to be a gaming laptop, which raises questions about the point of modern handhelds: they exist to give PC libraries a portable, console-like form.
