Leon Kennedy appears married in Resident Evil Requiem

Players have spotted what looks to be a wedding ring on Leon Kennedy’s finger in a couple of Resident Evil Requiem cutscenes, and the ring is visible in concept art as well. The discovery has split fans into two camps: Claire or Ada. Team Ada points to the dynamic shown between her and Leon across the games, their years of shared screentime and the time they kissed.

Team Claire argues Ada and Leon’s relationship can feel toxic and says Claire is kinder and better aligned with Leon’s sense of justice; supporters also note that, if Leon is married to Claire, it might explain why he was extra chummy about Chris when Sherry asked for his whereabouts towards the end of Resident Evil: Requiem.

Another sizeable group insists Leon is married to them, summed up by one fan: "I don't like how y'all are talking about Leon being married to other women when he is very clearly married to me." Who Leon actually married remains anyone’s guess and Capcom may never say.
