LG displayed its ultra-thin Wallpaper TV at CES 2026, a set the company says measures just 9mm in thickness.

The model is presented as a return to LG's design-forward Wallpaper line first seen in 2017, but this year's version also adds a Brightness Booster Ultra feature that LG says can achieve nearly four times the brightness of conventional OLED sets. The panel is treated with a low-reflectance coating intended to reduce glare, and the TV ships with a Zero Connect Box to handle inputs and outputs.

LG said the system is powered by an A11 AI Processor Gen 3, which the company described as offering improved AI computing for detail restoration, sharpening, more responsive Voice ID detection, and support for Gemini and Copilot assistance, with a user-selectable AI model for chat. For gaming, the Wallpaper TV is quoted as supporting 4K at 165Hz, a 0.1ms response time, and compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.

LG has not shared price or availability information. The ZDNET article noted that the set could cost tens of thousands of dollars, referencing the company's previous pricing for wireless TV models, but provided no firm figures or launch dates.
