Liam Rosenior mocked by Chelsea players after bad touch vs Arsenal
Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior has been ribbed by his own players after a poor touch during the Carabao Cup semi-final at the Emirates. He attempted to control the ball after it sailed out of play, but the failed touch sent it ballooning away from the pitch, and Rosenior said his squad “have not let [him] live the moment down.” The 41-year-old has already attracted online mockery — dubbed ‘LinkedIn Liam’ and compared to David Brent and Will McKenzie largely because of his glasses — and the latest moment brought more trolling.
Rosenior was able to laugh about it: “The lads have played it back to me on the video and we've had a laugh about it. Estevao said he can't believe that I was a professional footballer.” He added: “This is a great job - I love this job. I am serious in many aspects and demanding in many aspects.
Life is too short. You have to enjoy life. You have to be able to laugh at yourself.
