Lisa Rinna says Andy Cohen was 'shady' for publishing their texts
Lisa Rinna says she was furious when Andy Cohen published their personal text messages in his 2023 memoir, writing that she 'gleefully' watched his book burn in her fireplace. She recalled that Cohen had given her a heads-up that she would be in his book and wrote, 'When anyone gives you a heads-up that you’re in their book, you know you’re f—ked.' The messages Cohen printed were about her surprise exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2023.
In his memoir he described receiving a late-night text saying she was leaving, then another a week later asking 'if there was a path forward' to film the next season; Cohen said Bravo ultimately decided she 'should go on pause' and 'come back' in the future. Rinna wrote that the disclosures left her feeling abandoned: 'Nobody had my back, not even Andy.
Especially Andy. He left me in a ditch to have my eyes pecked out by the vultures.' Her resignation email, dated Sept.
