Liv Ciara Took Coaches' Advice to Heart for Her Voice Comeback

Sixteen-year-old Liv Ciara first auditioned in Season 28, singing Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" and failing to earn a chair turn; she returned the next season for The Voice: Battle of Champions. This time her rendition of Ariana Grande's "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" stunned the coaches.

Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine turned, and Ciara ultimately chose Clarkson as her coach en route to the Battles. Ciara said she took the Season 28 coaches' feedback to heart.
