Logan Paul’s one-of-one PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator card sold for $16,492,000 at Goldin Auctions, closing early Monday morning after 41 days of bidding. The final hammer price was $13.3 million plus a 24% buyer’s premium. That final price is more than triple what Paul paid for the card in July 2021 — $5.275 million — a purchase that set a world record at the time.

He also bought a custom case and necklace for $70,000, which he later wore as part of his WrestleMania 38 costume. Bidding opened Jan. 5 for the card, necklace and case after the start date was moved up from Jan. 12 because of "overwhelming global interest." Early bids jumped from $500,000 to $4.3 million in the first week, then held around $5.1 million by Jan.

14 before picking up again in February. Dozens of bids arrived in an extended period after the auction's scheduled end; Goldin has not disclosed the winner. The Pikachu Illustrator was awarded to winners of a 1998 illustration contest and was designed by Atsuko Nishida.
