Exactly one year after the four-part drama Adolescence debuted, a companion film has climbed the Netflix viewership charts. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere was among the streamer's most-watched titles on March 13 and remained high on global charts a week later, per FlixPatrol.

Adolescence premiered on March 13, 2025, and became a cultural phenomenon. Filmed in a single, unbroken take, the series explored a teenager accused of murdering a classmate through the eyes of his parents, a social worker and investigating officers. It examined toxic masculinity and the hours of online content aimed at teenage boys in the so-called "manosphere," and swept the awards season with 13 Emmy nominations and nine wins.

Theroux's new film sends the veteran documentarian into that online ecosystem to investigate the impact of influencers on vulnerable youth. Over a three-decade career he has profiled fringe communities around the world, and his previous work includes Louis Theroux: The Settlers.
