Mac Allister says there are no contract talks with Liverpool
Alexis Mac Allister has confirmed he has not entered discussions over a contract extension with Liverpool. He remains tied to a long-term deal that runs until the summer of 2028 and says the lack of talks is not a concern as he focuses on his performances. “We are not in contract talks but I’m not in a rush,” he explained.
“That’s only a fact.” The update comes after Liverpool handed Ryan Gravenberch a fresh long-term extension, and Mac Allister was quick to congratulate his teammate. “I want to congratulate Ryan as it’s really good for him and he deserves it,” he stated. “He’s been a really important player for us in the season we won the Premier League which is not easy at all, so congratulations to him.” Mac Allister is in Istanbul ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League round of 16 tie with Galatasaray and is focused on European silverware.
“It's my dream right now,” he said. “It's a World Cup year so why not win it twice!
