16-Year-Old Mackenzie Dalton Missing After Car and Suitcase Were Recovered

People reports police in South Carolina are asking for public help to find 16-year-old Mackenzie Dalton, who was last seen in November 2025 after leaving her Lexington, S.C., home, the Lexington County Sheriff's Office said in a statement on Friday, Jan. 2.

Dalton is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 118 pounds; a photo released by the sheriff's office shows her with blonde hair with highlights. Officials have labeled her an "endangered juvenile runaway" after "the car she drove away in and the suitcase she took from home have been recovered," the agency said. The sheriff's office did not say whether the suitcase still contained items, and authorities said they think she is "traveling with a man she knows" but did not provide details about him. The outlet said it contacted the Lexington County Sheriff's Department for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Dalton has not been seen since she left home in late November. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact authorities and can do so anonymously by using the Crime Stoppers mobile app or by calling 888-274-6372.
