Man Utd can lure Vinicius if Carrick gets permanent job, says Saha
Louis Saha says Manchester United could lure Vinicius Junior away from Real Madrid if Michael Carrick is given the manager's job permanently. The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League but appears happier in Madrid now than under Xabi Alonso, after run-ins with the former coach and Alvaro Arbeloa overseeing first-team affairs on a caretaker basis.
Carrick has restored positivity at Old Trafford since his interim appointment and United have won four successive matches — over Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham. Saha argued that "nothing is too big when Man United are playing the way they are playing," adding that a return to the Champions League would make the club a more attractive destination for a Ballon d'Or contender who wants to shine and win individual trophies.
Carrick is appointed only until the end of the 2025-26 campaign, but Saha said he should be considered for the full-time role.
