Beincrypto has analysed three altcoins to watch in the second week of January: Mantle (MNT), MANTRA (OM) and Polygon (POL). Mantle is approaching a mainnet upgrade scheduled to go live this week that is designed to support all features of Ethereum’s Fusaka upgrade and could improve utility and scalability, potentially attracting new users and increasing on-chain activity.

The analysis notes MNT is trading near $0.99 and would need to decisively breach $1.04 to recover roughly 14% of recent losses and open a path toward $1.11; failure at $1.04 could drag the token back toward its all-time low near $0.94. OM showed early-month strength near $0.078 as MANTRA prepares a network transition requiring users to migrate ERC20 OM to MANTRA Chain before January 15, 2026, after which ERC20 OM will be deprecated.

The migration aims to concentrate liquidity on the native chain and could act as a short-term catalyst; the report says Chaikin Money Flow signals capital outflows and OM could slip below $0.077 and toward $0.072 if buying interest weakens. Polygon gained attention after Wyoming’s Stable Token Commission selected it to host the state’s first stablecoin, helping POL rise about 46% before a 12% pullback over the last 48 hours.
