Following a lengthy and public development cycle, Marathon is out for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. Representatives for Bungie sent a DualSense wireless controller – Marathon Limited Edition for testing in late February. Out of the box it feels like a standard DualSense but finished with Marathon‑themed decals.

Blocky lime‑green and black patterns run up the left handle, and the Marathon logo sits in a lime‑green square on the touchpad. Face buttons are surrounded by those cyberpunk squiggles, a sans serif "R" marks the right handle, and the decorations are colored into the plastic rather than applied as stickers.

White shoulder buttons and triggers provide a subtle contrast with the dark gray parts found on a standard DualSense, though the directional decals around the D‑pad feel redundant. I've used the DualSense wireless controller – Marathon Limited Edition this week, not long enough to develop any stick drift.
