Marvel unveils new Wonder Man trailer ahead of Disney+ debut
Marvel Studios released a new trailer for Wonder Man, its eight-episode miniseries arriving later this month on Disney+ as part of the MCU’s Phase Six.
The series was created by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of Five Rings) and Andrew Guest (Hawkeye), with Guest serving as showrunner.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man, an actor and stuntperson who actually has superpowers and auditions for the lead role in a rebooted superhero TV series.
Demetrius Grosse plays Simon’s brother Eric, aka Grim Reaper; Ed Harris is Simon’s agent Neal Saroyan; Arian Moayed plays P., an agent with the Department of Damage Control. Lauren Glazier, Josh Gad, Byron Bowers, Bechir Sylvain, and Manny McCord appear in undisclosed roles, and Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery.
Earlier teasers debuted around New York Comic Con; the latest trailer reuses some footage but adds a scene in which Simon is asked to sign a form denying he has powers. The stress of auditioning and acting triggers his abilities, prompting the Department of Damage Control to label him an "extraordinary threat."
Wonder Man premieres on Disney+ on January 27, 2026.
