Súper Deportivo has reported Houston submitted a final offer of $6 million upfront plus a further $4 million tied to performance-based incentives. The outlet added negotiations have progressed smoothly, with Houston viewing Bogusz as a key addition and Cruz Azul open to the transfer amid the player’s interest in continuing his career in the United States.

Bogusz, 24, joined La Máquina ahead of the Clausura 2025 and made 39 official appearances, recording three goals and seven assists; his situation became unsettled in recent weeks and he missed preseason preparations ahead of the Clausura 2026. Houston have already strengthened with the return of Héctor Herrera and see Bogusz’s versatility and international experience as a midfield boost, and there is growing confidence the move will be completed soon if final details are agreed.
