Max Parker to play Heimdall in Prime Video's God of War series

Gamesradar reports Prime Video has cast Max Parker as Heimdall, the Watchman of Asgard, in its upcoming live-action God of War series.

The series, based on the video game franchise, follows Kratos as he tries to teach his son Atreus to be a better god while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human. The live-action adaptation was announced in 2022, and in 2024 Ronald D. Moore was tapped as the new showrunner.

Prime Video has ordered two seasons of the series; the two-season order and Moore's appointment are the latest production details released alongside the casting news.
