Both Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson Shone at the 2026 Oscars
Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson, who have been together since 2001 and share four children — Pearl, Lucille, Jack and Minnie — each had memorable moments at the Academy Awards on March 15. Rudolph, a former Saturday Night Live cast member, did not win an award but joined the evening’s highlights with a high-profile reunion.
She has referred to Anderson as her "husband," saying, "People know what that means. It means he's the father of my child, and I live with him, and we are a couple, and we are not going anywhere." The 55-year-old Anderson enjoyed the most successful night of anyone at the ceremony, taking home three Oscars for One Battle After Another: best director, best adapted screenplay and best picture, which he earned as a producer.
The film won six awards in total, including best supporting actor (Penn), film editing and best casting, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti.
