Mayor of Kingstown enters final season with David Morse

Production has begun on the fifth and final season of Mayor of Kingstown in Pittsburgh, Paramount+ announced on March 13, 2026. David Morse joins the series as a regular, playing Russell Hardy, a seasoned FBI agent sent to Kingstown. Hardy arrives in the wake of Tracy’s murder and the revenge Mike and Kyle take on Callahan, and his investigation threatens to unearth Mike’s "sins and secrets" while destabilizing the city’s already fragile balance of power.

The final eight-episode season is led by Jeremy Renner as Mike McLusky and Edie Falco. Returning main cast members include Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Necar Zadegan, Nichole Galicia, and Lennie James. The series was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, with Dave Erickson serving as showrunner.
