Meet Yoshi and Celebrate The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at Universal

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie opens on April 1, 2026, and Universal theme parks are starting celebrations on MAR10 Day, March 10. The sequel follows Mario and Luigi on a space adventure with Princess Peach, Toad and Yoshi, who was first shown hatching in a post-credits scene of the original film.

Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, each with a Super Nintendo World, will offer themed experiences, food and merchandise from March 10 through April 13. At Super Nintendo World in both parks, the highlight is a meet-and-greet with Yoshi, which is included with park admission; times will be posted inside the parks throughout the day.

Available treats include the Rosalina Cupcake — a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake, topped with lemon buttercream and a chocolate crown and star — and Galaxy Popcorn, a multicolored berry-flavored popcorn with edible glitter.
