Meghan Markle visits Los Angeles children's hospital after Netflix split

Meghan Markle made a surprise visit to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on Thursday, one week after Netflix cut ties with her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The hospital posted photos on Instagram showing the Duchess of Sussex sitting beside several young patients; in all the pictures she wore a black face mask.

She showed a Hello Kitty drawing to a patient and joined children and staff for a painting session. Markle wore a white shirt and white pants with a beige sweater. The hospital captioned its post, 'Today we were honored to welcome LA’s own @meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to CHLA’s Creative Oasis, where she spent time painting alongside our incredible patients.' The visit was part of Make March Matter, the hospital’s month-long fundraising campaign supporting lifesaving care, research, and innovation.

Markle had visited the same hospital in 2024 for a Literally Healing reading session that gifts families more than 65,000 books annually; 'Children were laughing and singing as The Duchess turned into character with every page,' CHLA said.
