People reports Meghan Trainor shared another TikTok on Monday, Jan. 12, insisting she is not involved in the "toxic" mom group drama connected to Ashley Tisdale French's viral essay for The Cut.

In the clip Trainor lip-synced to a scene from season 5 of Stranger Things featuring the audio, "Come on you have to believe me! Please, you have to believe me, you have to believe me," and overlaid the text, "Me still trying to convince everyone I'm not involved in the mom group drama," while captioning the post, "I swear i'm innocent." She had previously posted a Jan. 8 TikTok joking about "finding out about the apparent mom group drama," showing herself at a computer to her new single "Still Don't Care," from her upcoming album Toy with Me, which drops on April 24.

Trainor's husband, Daryl Sabara, told TMZ there is "no drama" between his wife and Tisdale French and said the couple are focused on their children, Barry, 2, and Riley, 4½. Tisdale French kept the women in her essay anonymous and wrote that stepping away from a hurtful mom group can be empowering: "If a mom group consistently leaves you feeling hurt, drained or left out, it’s not the mom group for you," adding that "choosing to step away doesn’t make you mean or judgmental" and that "friendships, like all relationships, have seasons."
