Meghan’s 'With Love' season two misses Netflix top 1,000; third series reportedly unlikely
The Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, failed to reach the platform’s top 1,000 most-watched programmes, ranking 1,124th between July and December 2025 with 2m views, figures suggest, and Page Six reported the series will not return for a third season. Released in August as an eight-episode second season, the show was panned by critics, with the Guardian’s two-star review calling it “painfully contrived” and the Times describing it as “baffling” and occupying the “sweet spot where irrelevant meets intolerable”.
The second season’s ranking placed it below the second season of Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir and older programmes such as Downton Abbey. The festive special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, also missed the top 1,000 and was listed at 1,022 with 2.4m views; the first series attracted 5.3m views.
Filmed in a rented house in Montecito, California, the series showed the duchess cooking, chatting and crafting with friends including Tan France and Chrissy Teigen, and included revelations such as Prince Harry’s dislike of lobster and that their children “really want a cat”. The show formed part of the Sussexes’ reported $100m five-year Netflix deal, which began with the Harry & Meghan documentary series; other programmes from the deal, including Heart of Invictus and Polo, struggled to gain viewers, and the couple have since announced a watered-down, “multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects”.
