Mewgenics breeding tips to create the best cat army
Breeding is one of the main loops in Mewgenics: cats in the same room can mate at the end of each day and produce one or sometimes two kittens, which need a day to mature before they can go on runs. With only one room at the start, inbreeding and unwanted mutations are common, so unlocking house upgrades by giving retired cats to Frank is important to gain control over pairings.
Send kittens to Tink early to unlock key information—sexuality, mood, libido, relationships, base stats, and whether a cat is inbred—which helps you plan matings. Specific abilities are difficult to reliably pass on, so focus on breeding cats with higher base stats by grouping them together; this also makes class collar distribution easier to manage.
Each room has five stats determined by furniture: Appeal (quality of stray cats), Comfort (how often cats breed or fight), Health (lifespan and disorder chances), Stimulation (quality of newborn kittens), and Mutation (chance for random mutations).
