MGM+ renews 'Robin Hood' for a second season
Nearly two months after its season finale, MGM+ has renewed Robin Hood for a second season. The series, which debuted on Nov. 2, 2025, stars Jack Pattern and Lauren McQueen as Robin Hood and Maid Marion, with Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham. The ten-episode first season concluded on Dec.
28, 2025. Casting for Season 2 will begin shortly, and the story is expected to move beyond Sherwood Forest and Nottingham into the courts of England, France, and Rome. Michael Wright, global head of MGM+, praised the show’s performance: "Robin Hood quickly became one of our top-performing original series of all time, and the response from our audiences both in the U.S.
and abroad has been exceptional. We’re thrilled to continue this epic adventure for a second season.
