Michael Keaton spent many years away from the role of Batman, but since reprising the character in The Flash and the scrapped Batgirl movie he has kept returning to the cowl. A video recorded at his Man of the Year award presentation at Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals captures one of those moments.

Keaton traveled to Cambridge on Friday to accept the pudding pot at Farkas Hall and endured some gentle ribbing from the troupe. During a segment titled "Salooney Tunes" the Bat‑Signal appeared on the wall, he was fitted with a very low‑budget cape and cowl, and staged a strange sword‑fight with an Oscar statuette against a gold morph‑suit adversary — a scene far removed from the Academy Awards, where two years ago he shared a "moment" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.

He also tried out some stand‑up, making Boston the butt of a few jokes, and donned a McDonald’s uniform for a sketch linked to his portrayal of Ray Kroc in The Founder.
