Microsoft is combining its commercial and consumer Copilot teams into a single organization. Jacob Andreou, whose previous title was Microsoft AI corporate vice president of product and growth, will become executive vice president of Copilot and lead the combined teams.

Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft AI CEO, will shift to a superintelligence team focused on building frontier AI models. He formed a superintelligence team in November aimed at training "frontier models of all scales with our own data and compute at the state-of-the-art level" to make the company "self-sufficient in AI." Company leaders framed the reorganization as a way to turn Microsoft's many Copilot products into a coherent platform that delivers a simpler, more powerful experience across applications.
