Mikayla Matthews acknowledged her “downfall” in a playful TikTok after revealing her separation from husband Jace Terry. In Thursday’s social media upload she did a voiceover urging followers not to “even worry about preying on [her] downfall,” and quipped, “I’m already down.

The horse is already down. You don’t have to beat me. I’m down.” News broke hours earlier that the couple separated after eight years of marriage. Matthews posted the video wearing a pink tee and sweats, captioning it “Mood today and everyday [thank you],” hours after she disclosed the split during a confessional on the show’s fourth season.

She and Terry share four children: Beckham, 8; Haven, 6; Tommie, 4; and Lottie, 7 months. On the episode she said, “We both agreed to do a separation,” and clarified she didn’t think it was intended to be forever, adding they were “obviously still going to see each other every single day.
