Mike Colter Teases 'Very, Very Likely' MCU Return in Daredevil: Born Again

Marvel Studios began reintegrating the Defenders into the MCU with Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, which brought back Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk and Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle. Krysten Ritter is confirmed to return as Jessica Jones in Season 2, leaving Mike Colter's Luke Cage and Finn Jones's Danny Rand/Iron Fist as the remaining Defenders not yet back.

On the Inside of You podcast, Colter said he has spoken with Ritter about returning and that he has had discussions with Marvel. He called it "very, very likely" that he will come back at some point, adding that he hadn't been thinking about it before but now feels open to revisiting the role and exploring different directions.

Colter has not appeared in the MCU since a cameo in the final episode of Jessica Jones Season 3, where he had taken over Harlem's Paradise and offered Jessica advice. A sign for the club appeared in the opening moments of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 during Kingpin's speech.
