Mike Feldman visits 'Today' amid search for Savannah Guthrie's mother
Mike Feldman, Savannah Guthrie’s husband, visited the "Today" set about two weeks ago to thank colleagues for their support as the family searches for Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, who was kidnapped from her home on Feb. 1. Feldman has been traveling between New York and Arizona to be with his wife.
Colleagues have offered practical help—sending clothes, arranging food, looking after the children or creating small distractions to help the family cope. Video captured a suspect breaking into Nancy’s home on the night of the kidnapping. An insider who was present called the meeting "very emotional" and added, "There were a lot of tears." Feldman moved through a large group, thanked everyone and received many hugs; coworkers were described as an extension of the family and were struggling as well.
Guthrie remains off the show while she is with her family, and Hoda Kotb has been filling in. In a Feb.
