Nbc reports Mike Tirico is preparing for a packed February that will include the February 1 launch of Sunday Night Basketball, Super Bowl LX on February 8, and a two-week run as the prime-time host for the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games from February 6–22, alongside coverage of the NFL postseason.

In a recent exclusive interview with the outlet, Tirico said his approach is an "accumulation of preparation" built year‑round — noting past work such as covering last year’s world figure skating championships in Boston and staying current with winter sports — and that he plans to "lock in and prep" the week after the Conference Championship games played on Sunday, January 25.

His stated goal is to finish that concentrated prep by the Friday before the February 1 basketball launch so he can begin the month ready, with other assignments added as days go on. He will also be back on the NFL call on Sunday, January 18, when the Los Angeles Rams visit the Chicago Bears, alongside Cris Collinsworth and Mellissa Stark, set to kick off live from Soldier Field in Chicago at 6:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and the broadcast network.
