Mileseey Xtape1 blends tape and laser measuring - on sale for $239
The Mileseey Xtape1 is on sale now for $239. It combines a laser rangefinder and a 12-foot metal tape: the laser reaches up to 330 feet and is accurate to ±1/16-inch, while the physical tape is accurate to ±1/32-inch. That mix lets you measure rooms with laser speed and still tackle lumber or tight interior spaces with a traditional tape.
The tape itself is smart: a two-inch IPS multi-color display sits on top, showing measurements and letting you change background color and flip orientation; the large font is easier to read in low light. Advanced modes such as area, volume and point-to-point measurements take some time to learn, and an iOS/Android app can act as a secondary display and log readings into the unit's 3,000-entry memory.
The unit is modular, with the tape detaching from the rangefinder so you can replace it or swap imperial, metric or combined tapes. A 1,500mAh battery provides about eight hours of use or roughly 30 days of standby and recharges via USB-C in two to three hours.
