Monarch S2 Stars Reveal Whether Their Characters Trust Monarch

Apple TV+'s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters returns for Season 2, continuing the MonsterVerse that began with Gareth Edwards' 2014 Godzilla movie. Starring Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Wyatt Russell and Kurt Russell, the series follows Monarch, an organization tasked with tracking and studying Titans such as Godzilla and Kong.

Founded by Keiko Muira (Mari Yamamoto), Bill Randa (Anders Holm) and Lee Shaw (Kurt and Wyatt Russell), the company has endured bureaucratic problems and a loss of its original vision, creating problems for both monsters and the people trying to protect them. Anna Sawai, who plays Kate, says her character has moved away from trusting Monarch and now aligns more with Keiko.
