Mourinho warns Prestianni his Benfica career will end if abuse proven

Jose Mourinho has warned Gianluca Prestianni that his career at Benfica will be over if the investigation finds he racially abused Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. Speaking ahead of the game against Gil Vicente, he balanced that ultimatum with a call to respect the legal process for the 20-year-old Argentine winger.

He asked, "Is the presumption of innocence a human right or not?" and said, "I am not a lawyer, but I am not ignorant either." Mourinho criticised the speed of public judgments and noted UEFA did not include the "if" in their initial communication about the player’s suspension.
