MSI has refreshed its 32-inch 4K OLED line with Samsung's latest Tandem OLED panel, releasing the MSI MPG 322UR X24 as an update to the MPG 322URX and the earlier MPG 321URX. The chassis styling remains similar to those previous models. The HDR numbers are a little odd: a closely related panel appeared on the MSI MPG 341CQR with a 1,300 nits HDR rating and 300 nits full-screen output, yet MSI says the new 322UR X24 carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, up from True Black 400 on prior 32-inch 4K models.

MSI is also using what it calls DarkArmor Film, which appears to be Samsung technology that aims to remove the purple tint seen on earlier QD-OLEDs by boosting light absorption and improving black levels by about 40% for better contrast in well-lit rooms. It didn't completely eliminate the tint on the 341CQR and will likely only be noticeable now in extreme ambient light; LG OLED panels don't have that issue.
