Muni Long's Journey on The Voice Before Becoming a Battle Advisor
Muni Long has become a favorite among The Voice fans and competing artists. Before joining John Legend as a Battle Advisor on The Voice: Battle of Champions, the R&B singer stunned audiences as a guest performer and saw her songs covered by a growing list of contestants.
She returned to the show in 2024 to perform her viral hit "Made For Me" during the Season 25 finale, telling host Carson Daly she used to audition for shows like The Voice and thanking fans for the role TikTok played in the song's success. In Season 27, Ari Camille and Bryson Battle performed "Made For Me" as a duet in the Battles.
Their rendition led to Camille earning a double steal after Battle won, and she moved from Team Legend to Team Adam. Born Priscilla Renea Hamilton, Long released a 2009 album before shifting to songwriting, collaborating with many artists and coaches.
