Mobile World Congress runs March 2–5 in Barcelona, arriving hot on the heels of Samsung and Google flagship reveals. Xiaomi and Honor dominated keynote attention over the weekend, while larger players appear focused more on ecosystem integration than fresh hardware.

Attendees will be watching for an unexpected "showstopper" as the show floor opens; a ticket is priced at about $1,028. Honor unveiled the Magic V6, a notably thin foldable that measures 8.75mm when closed, carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, and packs a 6,660mAh battery versus the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s 4,400mAh.

The phone can reach extreme HDR peak brightness levels — 6,000 nits outer and 5,000 nits inner — and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The company also previewed a Robot Phone with a rotating camera gimbal for body-tracking and stabilized recording; no release date has been set.
