Naomi Watts channels Jackie Kennedy in black and white at ‘Love Story’ premiere
Naomi Watts, 57, paid tribute to Jackie Kennedy Onassis at the "Love Story" premiere at Carnegie Hall in New York, wearing a black Balenciaga cold-shoulder gown with a crystal-embellished neckline and opera-length white gloves.
She completed the look with Cartier Reflexion de Cartier diamond drop earrings reported worth $133,000; the drops were each set with 30 diamonds: 24 baguette, 4 princess and 2 troidia cuts. Watts wore her blond bob down with a soft wave.
Makeup artist Mary Wiles said she aimed for "effortless elegance" with "glowing skin and fresh makeup", and stylist Jeanann Williams, who has worked with Watts since 2012, assembled the black-and-white ensemble.
Watts plays Jackie Kennedy Onassis in the FX series that chronicles the romance and tragic fate of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. The series, created by Ryan Murphy, premieres Feb. 12 on FX and Hulu, and the premiere included cast members such as Paul Anthony Kelly, Sarah Pidgeon and Grace Gummer.
