NASA Astrophysics Division update webinar 10 March 2026
Shawn Domagal-Goldman, Director of the NASA Astrophysics Division, will speak in a webinar on 10 March 2026, 12 noon–1 p.m. Eastern (9–10 a.m. Pacific). The Astrophysics Division studies how the universe began and evolved, how it works, and where life might exist beyond the solar system.
It supports three focused programs—Physics of the Cosmos (PhysCOS), Cosmic Origins (COR), and Exoplanet Exploration (ExEP)—each framed around a fundamental question: “How did we get here?” (COR), “How does the universe work?” (PhysCOS), and “Are we alone?” (ExEP).
Members of the three programs form Program Analysis Groups that provide an interdisciplinary forum for community analysis and input. In the webinar Domagal-Goldman will address those communities and present updates from the Division, recent scientific and technical achievements, and upcoming funding opportunities.
