NASA is offering official media resources for the AVATAR research investigation to support accurate coverage and a deeper understanding of its science and impact on future Moon and Mars missions.

The materials include images, background information, and points of contact for interviews, all intended to help media report on the investigation and its relevance to human spaceflight research.

Members of the media interested in learning more about AVATAR may request interviews by emailing hq-dl-bps-comms@mail.nasa.gov.

Interviews can be arranged with an AVATAR subject matter expert or leadership from NASA’s Biological and Physical Sciences Division to discuss the science, its relevance to Moon and Mars missions, and its impact on human health. AVATAR Imagery Access provides official imagery and visual assets supporting this investigation.
