NASA releases final solicitation for Landslide Change Characterization Experiment
NASA's ROSES-2025 Amendment 34 releases the final text for A.6, the Earth Venture Suborbital-4 Landslide Change Characterization Experiment (LACCE) Science Team solicitation, seeking proposals to build the full LACCE Science Team.
The solicitation calls for team members who will provide airborne and ground-based measurements, data processing and analysis, and modeling and laboratory capabilities. The LACCE Science Team will investigate slow-moving, deep-seated landslides where motion is controlled by seasonal and inter-annual precipitation variability and by debuttressing from river erosion, wave erosion, and ice retreat.
The amendment, previously listed as TBD, will be posted on or about January 12, 2025 on the NASA research opportunity homepage at https://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2025. Mandatory Notices of Intent are due February 27, 2026, and full proposals are due April 14, 2026. Questions concerning A.6 LACCE ST may be directed to Thorsten Markus at thorsten.markus@nasa.gov.
