NASA’s Science Mission Directorate has posted minor corrections and additional documents for the F.6 Science Activation (SciAct) element of the ROSES-25 solicitation.

The SciAct program encourages broad public participation in science through activities and resources developed by collaborative project teams that draw on NASA SMD assets, including science content, experts and data. The solicitation seeks a portfolio of projects that cover the full breadth of NASA science disciplines, operate across all 50 states and U.S. territories, reach people of all ages and backgrounds, include both formal and informal learning organizations, and engage community partners to deepen and extend reach and impact. NASA seeks a balance between projects that broadly share resources and opportunities that leverage NASA assets and projects that meet specific community needs, whether geographic or interest-based.

Minor corrections were made to Section 3.3.1 and Table F.6-3 of the ROSES-25 F.6 SciAct text; new text is shown in bold and deleted text is struck through. The due dates remain unchanged: notices of intent to propose are requested by January 26, 2026, and proposals are due March 31, 2026. Preproposal webinar slides and a SciAct FAQ have been posted under other documents on the NSPIRES page for F.6 SciAct, and questions may be directed to Lin Chambers at lin.h.chambers@nasa.gov.
