NASA has solicited proposals under the ROSES-25 D.3.D Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) General Investigator (GI) Program, an announcement dated 16 January 2026 said.

The opportunity seeks proposals for the acquisition and analysis of new scientific data from TESS taken during Cycle 9, covering Sector 108 starting 7 September 2026 through Sector 121 ending 19 September 2027. The solicitation also invites proposals that support the acquisition and/or analysis of scientific data from ground-based telescopes when those data directly support analysis or interpretation of TESS scientific data taken during Cycle 9 or already in the archive.

ROSES-2025 Amendment 33 releases the final text for the TESS GI element of ROSES-25, the announcement states.

The Phase-1 due date, previously listed as TBD, is now 10 March 2026 and submissions must be made via the Astrophysics Research Knowledgebase/Remote Proposal System (ARK RPS). Programmatic questions should be directed to John Wisniewski at john.p.wisniewski@nasa.gov and Joshua Pepper at joshua.a.pepper@nasa.gov; technical questions should be sent to TESS GI Program Lead Tyler Pritchard at tyler.a.pritchard@nasa.gov.
