Nathan Fillion is launching a new comic series, Witness Point, co-written with Heath Corson and illustrated by Soo Lee. Dark Horse Comics has previewed a cover for the series, which is scheduled to arrive in shops this July. The story takes place in Baraboo, Wisconsin, where the discovery of a dismembered body exposes the town as a dumping ground for the Witness Protection Program.

That revelation forces long‑suffering sheriff Carter Calhoon and his contentious deputy, Priya Khabrani, to work together and solve the murder before the town’s Harvest Festival. Fillion said Corson pulled him into the world of Witness Point and that he immediately saw the material as a comic.

He praised Soo Lee’s recent work and called collaborating with Lee, his partners at Collision33—Michelle Chapman and Josh Levy—and Dark Horse Entertainment a thrill, adding that he can’t wait for readers to experience the story. Corson described Fillion as an intuitive storyteller who brings wit, iconic character, and humanity to every medium he works in.
