Netflix Action Shows That Rival Reacher

Reacher is one of the most popular action crime sagas today, developed by Nick Santora and adapted from Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels, with Alan Ritchson as the larger-than-life titular hero. The Prime Video series has earned strong critical reception and viewer adoration, but it isn’t the only entertaining action show available on streaming.

Netflix’s library includes several series that rival and even surpass Reacher’s quality and entertainment value. Black Doves, a British spy thriller created by Joe Barton, stars Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw and has been praised for its performances, writing, stylish visuals and suspense; it was renewed for a second season before its premiere.

The Night Agent, based on Matthew Quirk’s novel and created by Shawn Ryan, follows Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland after an unexpected call exposes a government conspiracy and has run for three seasons so far.
