Movieweb reports Netflix has set the release date for Beef Season 2: April 16, 2026.

The anthology second season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes, two fewer than the first season's 10 episodes. It has been a little over three years since Season 1, starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, premiered; that season followed two strangers who, after a brief road rage encounter, began infiltrating and influencing each other's personal lives.

Season 2 will star Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as a young couple working at a country club who witness an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan, with Yuh-Jung Youn and Song Kang-ho also joining the cast. The season will feature 'chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.' Steven Yeun and Ali Wong are attached as executive producers alongside Jake Schreier, Kitao Sakurai, Ethan Kuperberg and Anna Moench. The list of directors for the eight episodes has not been confirmed, and Schreier's involvement is hard to determine given his work on Thunderbolts in 2025 and development of an X-Men film; creator Lee Sung Jin developed the second season and A24 remains a producing partner. With the premiere only a few months away, fans can expect marketing to ramp up with new images and likely a first trailer.
