Netflix cut Karoo from One Piece season 2, but he may still return

Netflix's live-action One Piece season 2 omits Karoo, the giant duck who serves as Princess Vivi's loyal companion in the anime. The season introduces Vivi (Charithra Chandran) and includes Igaram (Yonda Thomas), but Karoo does not appear. In the anime Karoo is a minor but memorable presence — loyal, brave and often hilarious — an example of the series' well-developed small characters.

Bringing a life-sized duck to the screen would likely require extensive CGI, and given Karoo's relatively small role it is not surprising the show chose to leave him out this season.
