Collider reports Netflix will debut a three-part adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery on January 15, featuring Mia McKenna-Bruce, Martin Freeman and Helena Bonham Carter.

Written by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall and directed in part by Chris Sweeney, the series is set in 1925 and follows Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (McKenna-Bruce) as a prank gone wrong at a country-house party turns deadly and forces her to lead an investigation with Lady Caterham (Bonham Carter) and Superintendent Battle (Freeman). A new teaser shared on X shows the trio embroiled in a murder mystery in an old English town.

McKenna-Bruce told Tudum, “Chris Chibnall’s scripts are brilliant, and I’m thrilled to be part of this new interpretation of the iconic Agatha Christie’s storytelling.” The cast also includes Edward Bluemel (Jimmy Thesiger), Nyasha Hatendi (Dr. Cyril Matip), Corey Mylchreest (Gerry Wade), Guy Siner (Tredwell) and Alex Macqueen (George Lomax). Separately, a new film adaptation of Christie’s Endless Night from director Jonathan Entwistle is in development, but no further casting or story details have been revealed yet.
