Netflix's 'One Piece' Season 2 Episode Runtimes Revealed

Netflix will release the entire second season of its live-action One Piece on March 10, with all eight episodes available at once. The new season adapts the first half of the Baroque Works / Alabasta saga. Episode runtimes are hefty, with most episodes running a little over an hour.

Episode 1 "The Beginning of the End" — 66 Minutes; Episode 2 "Good Whale Hunting" — 63 Minutes; Episode 3 "Whiskey Business" — 63 Minutes; Episode 4 "Big Trouble in Little Garden" — 54 Minutes; Episode 5 "Wax On, Wax Off" — 57 Minutes; Episode 6 "Nami Deerest" — 55 Minutes; Episode 7 "Reindeer Shames" — 57 Minutes; Episode 8 "Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom" — 63 Minutes.

The shortest episode runs 54 minutes, which is still lengthy by television standards. The runtimes are not dissimilar to Stranger Things, whose episodes often reached past the one-hour mark. The season chronicles the Straw Hat Pirates' entry into the Grand Line.
