Netflix releases teaser for One Piece Season 2, sets March 10 premiere
Movieweb reports that Netflix has unveiled the official teaser for One Piece Season 2, which is set to premiere on the streamer on March 10.
The trailer follows Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and the Straw Hat Pirates — Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero) and Sanji (Taz Skylar) — as they enter the Grand Line, confront a ring of assassins and face friends and foes empowered by Devil Fruits. The footage and article identify Baroque Works members including Mr. 3 (David Dastmalchian), Miss Wednesday (Charithra Chandran), Miss Valentine (Jazzara Jaslyn), Mr. 5 (Camrus Johnson) and Miss All Sunday (Lera Abova), with Miss All Sunday featured prominently.
Netflix confirmed in late November that Season 3 is currently being filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, with filming expected to continue until the start of the summer and the main cast returning. The report says Season 3 has upgraded several actors to series regulars — naming Mikaela Hoover, Joe Manganiello, Lera Abova and Sendhil Ramamurthy — and added new cast for the Alabasta arc including Xolo Maridueña, Cole Escola, Awdo Awdo and Daisy Head; Season 3 does not have a release date but is expected to premiere in 2027.
